I’m taken away by the national parks in the US. Loving everything from hiking, to camping, to kayaking my summers away. The only thing keeping me from the trail are multiple trains and a non-existent car that I could borrow. When I saw an opportunity to highlight the majestic natural beauty of the National Parks I wanted to show that these are resources that we must protect and preserve. The last thing we’d want to have are images and illustrations of how grand it all once was. Inspired by WPA posters made in the 1940s I wanted to create a set of OOH ads that showcased the beauty and injustice that illustrations would give us. Calling to keep parks clean and safe because only we have the power to preserve them.
